Team captain returns from injury ahead of crucial match

In a significant boost to Fassel FC's squad, team captain Emmanuel Hakizimana has returned to full training after recovering from a hamstring injury that kept him sidelined for six weeks. The defensive midfielder's return comes at a crucial time as the team prepares for the upcoming Rwanda Cup semi-final against traditional rivals APR FC.
Hakizimana, who has been with the club since its founding in 2010, expressed his relief at returning to fitness: The past six weeks have been challenging, watching from the sidelines while my teammates battled on the pitch. I've worked hard with the medical team to ensure a complete recovery, and I feel stronger than ever.
The captain's absence was felt during the team's recent run of matches, with Fassel winning just two of the five league games he missed. His leadership, defensive prowess, and ability to dictate play from deep positions have been crucial to the team's success over the years
Head Coach Robert Niyonzima welcomed the captain's return: Emmanuel is the heart of this team. His experience, leadership, and tactical understanding are invaluable. Having him back for the semi-final gives us a significant advantage, not just in terms of his playing ability but also his influence on the rest of the squad.
