"We aim for the title this season" - Team Captain

In an exclusive interview with Fassel FC's official website, team captain Emmanuel Hakizimana has set out the squad's ambitions for the upcoming season, declaring that nothing less than the Liberia Premier League title will satisfy the team's hunger for success.
"We've come close in the last two seasons, finishing second and third, but this year we're aiming for the top," stated Hakizimana, who is entering his fifteenth season with the club. "The squad has been strengthened, our preparation has been excellent, and there's a real belief among the players that this can be our year.
The 33-year-old midfielder, who has won two Liberia Cups and one league title with Fassel, pointed to the team's improved defensive record in pre-season as a key factor in their title aspirations. "Championship-winning teams are built on solid defenses. We've conceded just two goals in six pre-season matches, which shows the progress we've made in that area.
When asked about the competition, Hakizimana acknowledged the strength of traditional powerhouses APR FC and Rayon Sports but expressed confidence in Fassel FC ability to overcome them. "APR and Rayon are always strong, but we've beaten both of them in pre-season. The gap has closed, and I believe our squad depth gives us an advantage throughout a long season.
The captain also highlighted the impact of new signing David Mugisha from Uganda: "David has integrated seamlessly into the squad. His creativity in midfield adds a new dimension to our attack, and his winning mentality is infectious. He's exactly the type of player we needed.
